Jalapeno Records has introduced their newest talent, Wolfgang Valbrun, with his soulful single 'Cyclone'. As the lead vocalist for the avant-garde UK soul and jazz band, ephemerals, he gained international recognition, amassing a dedicated fanbase and hundreds of millions of streams. In addition to his success with ephemerals, Wolfgang collaborated with French funk & soul artist GUTS and performed with Dutch electronic group Kraak & Smaak.

In 2020, Wolfgang took a significant step in his musical journey, deciding to create music under his own name. 'Cyclone' is a glimpse of his individual prowess and is set to be the premiere track of a forthcoming three-song EP under Jalapeno Records.

Wolfgang tells us…

Cyclone is song that describes the instability of emotions that you find yourself in living with a partner. But it can also be applied to the relationships that we have with those around us in a general sense. The cyclone being a metaphor for the truly difficult moments where we are unable to grasp the reasons or reactions of someone we love. It came to me at a time when I was having a hard time with my partner. This is also why there are also good times described in this song, moments that are not to be neglected even when they are tempered with the bad times.
